The latest version of the Pro Audio Milan AVDECC Controller, HIVE is now available (version 1.3.0) for any Milan users.
Hive allows you to inspect, configure, and connect Milan devices and AVB switches on your network. HIVE is open-source and free-to-use for anyone working with Milan products. It runs on Mac, Windows & Linux and is not branded by a Manufacturer.
Users can download the compiled and ready-to-use open-source controller for Windows, Mac, and Linux on GitHub.
The updates available in 1.3.0 include bug fixes and improvements as well as:
- Added support for JACK and all CONTROL descriptors
- Support for virtual entities modification (offline mode)
- ANS/AVE file association
- Discovered entities list reworked with new information like macAddress, ClockDomain lock status, and firmware version
