Mick McCarthy is the director of Industrial Ethernet Technology at ADI and brings notable experience from his more than 20 years at Analog Devices. Having spent many years supporting customers on the breadth of ADI products, he is always keen to solve problems and understand how to make things ‘better’. Mick is based in Limerick, Ireland and spends considerable time meeting with customers across all global markets to discuss future requirements and technology adoption. He holds a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Limerick. He has a particular recent interest in single-pair Ethernet and the interaction between TSN and the newer, ‘low speed’ physical layers.
